Spinnaker’s snow guards were designed to combat extreme weather conditions, where freezing rain and snow accumulate. Heat pump outdoor units try to start in these conditions, and having been in the off cycle for some time, the result is a blown condenser fan. The cost to replace the condenser fan in these conditions, only to have it happen again, is extreme not to mention the additional costs incurred utilizing the more expensive auxiliary heat section until the repair is complete. These snow guards are sized to fit any outdoor condenser and have a matching enamel paint finish.
